A Peculiar People Indeed.
Truth from the beginning with Abraham;
Gen 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
Gen 17:8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
The Covenent is valid If He is a God to them. His name is Yahweh and they have forsaken that Holy Name and therefore they (The Israelites) have broken the Covenant.
This was the same covenant but it had the stipulation added to it;
1Ki 9:2 That Yahweh appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon.
1Ki 9:3 And Yahweh said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. ( His name and eyes and heart were to be in the Temple perpetually with these stipulations),
1Ki 9:4 And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:
1Ki 9:5 Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

1Ki 9:6 But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:
1Ki 9:7 Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:
1Ki 9:8 And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath Yahweh done thus unto this land, and to this house?
1Ki 9:9 And they shall answer, Because they forsook Yahweh their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath Yahweh brought upon them all this evil.
Sadly Israel, led by Solomon, went whoring after strange new Gods;
1Ki 11:1 But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;
1Ki 11:2 Of the nations concerning which Yahweh said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
1Ki 11:3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.
1Ki 11:4 For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with Yahweh his God, as was the heart of David his father.
1Ki 11:11 Wherefore Yahweh said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
1Ki 11:12 Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.
There was, however, this promise to be fulfilled; Gen. 48:19.
Gen 48:19 And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
The Israelites have been made a nation, The United States of America (Manasseh). And a multitude of nations, All the Islands of Great Britain (Ephraim).
(Great Britain during the years 1885-1910, approximate time period, was the largest Nation in land mass and population ever on the Planet).
Those of us who call on the God of Abraham in truth are a Peculiar People (Titus 2:14, 1 Peter 2:9) unto Him, and the covenant is restored once again, He is a God to us and we are a People to Him. GEO.
The information about the Messiah, and the Old Testament also, in the original languages respectively relate the true message God offered to us as a people of this world, and is correct.
It has however been changed by the translators, this action was prophesied in Isaiah 43:27, "Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me"
Early Translations did Transliterate God's name correctly. However with the advent of the "J" letter into the English language, in approximately 1630-1640 AD, the fraudulent name jesus became possible and the lie was perpetrated.
2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

To the end with the people inheriting lies!
Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. How awesome is THAT?
